The Space
This guesthouse might look like a garage from the outside, but within it opens up and simply offers an unexpected charm. With 4 beds total, a bathroom, a kitchen and additional storage space, nothing is left wanting—guests have everything they need, and nothing they don’t. Access the space from the side of the building (the white door, using the code to the keypad provided). Guests enter into the lower level living space/bedroom featuring a couch and two twin beds near an HD projector TV setup powered by Apple TV. Halfway up the stairs to the upper-level is a loft storage space for your luggage, if you need it. The upper-level is the guesthouse’s main living area, with the handsome kitchen and inviting bathroom located here along with a queen bed and additional twin. All beds feature quality linens professionally laundered and the unit itself sparkles with cleanliness and care. On all sides there are windows, views of the trees and Colorado sunshine outside. The living quarters are open and bright, and although the space is efficiently used to better offer a true value to short-term guests, there is plenty of room to live, to relax, to eat, sleep, be merry and enjoy. This home is located on a 5-acre lot shared with another home. Parking isn’t a problem. Peace, quiet, solitude, the wind blowing through the trees, the Colorado sun over head, and the occasional deer, fox or bear even are all offered in abundance. Getting Around
Because of the nature of this home, located a few miles south of Colorado Springs off of HWY 115, a vehicle is necessary. The roads in this area are good, however, and unlike other “mountain” listings, a 4WD vehicle is not necessary, even in winter.
