With accommodations for 4, as well as their canine friends, this basement unit has been re-designed and remodeled with the distinguished, discriminating traveler and guest in mind. The surfaces are granite and steel, the appointments are all of quality, and the energy, the feel here is welcoming, charming & good 🙂

The Space

Access the unit from the west side of the property, at the rear and to the side of the house the Cellar (or Kiva) resides under. Guests will enter into the backyard, perfect for well-behaved canine companions. An inviting outdoor living space greets guests immediately, with a table and seating for 4 as well as a handsome grill to BBQ your favorite steak or portobello on. Access the interior of the Kiva from the house’s rear door, and the single flight of stairs leading down. The space then opens up into a handsome, well-designed great room, complete with an inviting living room, fully functional kitchen, and formal dining area for 4. The bedrooms are each off to the sides of the great room—one featuring queen comfort, a small desk and work area; the other featuring a comfortable double bed—both dressed in tasteful Southwestern flair. The single bathroom of the unit is clean, white and perfect. There is also an unfinished room next to the kitchen offering a full laundry for guest use. Additionally, the inspiration for one of this vacation rental’s names, lies at the back of the great room as well—a wine cellar and wine tasting area, for an extra touch to that perfect evening entertaining or spent warmly with a loved one. While there is another private unit upstairs and above the basement “Kiva,” the residents here won’t be available. This unit is taken care of by Philip and Evan at Hoste, a specialist management company. We are able to promptly respond to any of your needs; such as recommended places in Colorado Springs, any extra accommodations you may need, and much much more. Although a number of parks, restaurants, bars, cafes, venues and other attractions are located within walking and biking distance to this property, we recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling elsewhere in Colorado Springs.
