The location leaves nothing to be desired, just blocks away from the heart of Old Colorado City, where real, old-fashioned western life still scents the air, and certainly the food, the drink, and the unique and fanciful artisan shops along Colorado Ave. Close-by are all of the major attractions that make Colorado Springs such a superb travel destination including Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, Downtown Colorado Springs, The Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Red Rocks Canyon and so much more. The Space

This 4 bedroom, 2 bath (and 2 kitchen!) home was built in 1902 and as such retains a richness, an elegance, an attention to detail and craftsmanship perhaps more endemic to the times. Enter through the side and rear of the home, adjacent to the private parking area to the west of the main building. Guests are immediately presented by a kitchen updated to modern perfection, with polished slate counters, stone backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and a large steel basin sink. The area is bright and inviting, welcoming guests to explore the rest of the home. Adjacent to the kitchen is the formal dining room, with seating for 8. The main living area is just off the dining room. High ceilings, rich wood floors, and original in-built wooden cabinetry present a classic motif. Just off the main living area are two bedrooms along with a richly updated bathroom.

Downstairs is a fully separate living area, with an independent kitchen, living room, modern, updated bathroom and another fully appointed and functional kitchen and eating area. This home is perfect for large families or perhaps two families traveling together—enjoy each other’s company in this perfect space, but have the option to retire to privacy and solitude at your leisure.

The Neighborhood

Located on the west side of Colorado Springs, in a neighborhood known as Old Colorado City, this home is just blocks away from great food, bars and shopping dominated by artisans, boutiques and original, local businesses. While offering its own appeal and attractions, Old Colorado City is also just down the road from Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and Manitou Springs, ensuring guests an almost endless list of easily accessible, quality attractions within minutes. Although there are restaurants, bars, cafes and parks accessible by foot or bike from this property, we still recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs. Also, we can provide you with specific bus routes to help you get around.
